With ten years of industry experience, I specialise in identity design and brand management, as well as editorial design, photography and copywriting. My career has seen me working with clients in sectors such as finance & law, cultural institutes, government bodies as well as hospitality & national tourism. For the last number of years I have focussed on a freelance career, working closely with my clients as a consultant and designer to help them realise their brand.

Education and Career

I graduated from the Institute of Art, Design and Technology in Ireland in 2013 with a BA in Visual Communications.

In 2013 I worked at Arekibo as a Junior User Interface and Experience Designer, with an emphasis on website and app layout and design. Following this, in 2014 I joined the small team at Form Design as a Junior Designer before moving to the larger brand agency, Huguenot, in 2015.

In January of 2016 I started working in Zero-G Communications, where I spent four years engaging closely with clients such as The Government of Ireland, St.Patricks Festival, The Special Olympics, Trinity Business School and The Abbey Theatre. It was here that I gained what I consider to be my most valuable experience to date, refining a rich and varied skillset for employing effective communication strategies.

In 2020 I moved from Ireland to Sweden in search of a more varied work/life balance, working as the Content and Media Manager for Immeln Canoe Center.

Today

As of 2021 I have been living in Finland working as a freelance Graphic Designer, Illustrator, Content Creator and Copywriter. My clients include Marttiini Knives (FI), Knives and Tools (NL), Bearhill Husky Tours (FI) and Outsite Magazine (DK). Knives and Tools
Based in The Netherlands, Knives and Tools are Europes biggest online distributor of outdoor tools. I have been working with the company for the past year and have contributed to their online content through photographing, testing and writing about their products, as well as running workshops in outdoor activities and creating online video tutorials for their various social media channels.
