Fleece-lined winter blanket collection, inspired by Nordic living

When I was in college, I wrote my dissertation on IKEA, and how their national identity and their history with sloyd and home crafts have shaped their business model. It was while writing this that I was exposed to the beautiful patterns found in Nordic culture. From traditional costume and textiles to furniture, architecture and ceramics, Scandinavian life is filled with beautiful things. This collection of blankets, designed for Voited, is my attempt to pay homage to these beautiful things, and to try and capture the spirit of life in the north.
